Privacy

Short version: I collect what you type into the form, use it to send you the list and ask how it went, and delete it whenever you say so. Nothing is sold or shared.

What I collect

Only what you enter: your name and email, and optionally where you buy and any notes. Cloudflare, which serves this site, logs standard request data such as IP addresses for security and abuse prevention.

What I use it for

Sending you the weekly list and same-day alerts, and following up to ask whether the list is useful. That's the whole list of purposes. No advertising profiles, no retargeting pixels, no analytics scripts on this site at all.

Who else sees it

Cloudflare hosts the site and stores submissions. An email provider delivers the list. Nobody else. Your information is never sold, rented, or traded, and it is not shared with other subscribers.

Getting removed

Reply "stop" to any email you receive from the list, or use the unsubscribe link — either one deletes your record, and you'll get a confirmation. California residents may also request a copy of what's held or its deletion under the CCPA the same way, and I'm not going to make you prove residency to get it.

About the records in the list

The leads themselves are compiled from public records of the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles, and the Los Angeles County Assessor. If you are a member of a family named in those records and want to discuss how that information appears, use the form on the homepage with a note and I will respond.

Changes

If this notice changes in a way that affects you, subscribers get told by email rather than by a silent edit to this page.
